What Is A Swag Full of Instruments?
A Swag Full of Instruments is a live, fully interactive music and movement incursion for early childhood designed for children aged 0–6. Over 45 action-packed minutes, children are introduced to 15 authentic world instruments from cultures including Indigenous Australia, Ireland, China, the Middle East, Africa, Spain and more.
This is not a passive concert — every child is actively involved through:
- Singing along to original songs
- Clapping and playing rhythm activities
- Dancing and movement activities
- Listening and learning about each instrument
- Exploring the cultural stories behind the music
Every instrument introduction teaches children WHERE the instrument comes from, WHAT it looks like, HOW it makes its sound and WHY it matters culturally — making this a complete multicultural education experience, not just entertainment.

How It Works
Step 1 — Book your session Contact Greg to check availability and confirm your date.
Step 2 — Prepare your space All you need to provide is:
- A clear floor space for children to sit and move
- 4 standard tables for instrument display
Greg arrives 30 minutes before the performance to set up — no fuss, no stress for your team.
Step 3 — Sit back and watch the magic Greg takes care of everything. Your educators are free to participate, observe or document children’s learning during the session.
